Affectionately known as “The Yarn Lady” in her hometown of Seward, Cindy Clark enjoys building relationships with folks who visit her store, which she opened in August 2007. Cindy is passionate about teaching and encouraging others to discover hidden skills. Her talent began at age 9 when her mother taught her to crochet. At 14, she taught herself to knit. In the years that followed, Cindy added to her repertoire: hairpin lace, broomstick lace, macrame’, counted cross stitch, quilting and spinning. Her background as an electro-mechanical engineering technician equips her with an ability to see knitting 3-dimensionally. But, most importantly, Cindy finds true blessings in the kinship with fellow knitters.
